Hey, did anyone ever manage to reproduce my kernel-crash thing? I'm guessing
not because I made a mistake in the lua scripts: the first line should be

fcall = _getreg().modules.fcall

not

import('fcall')

Updated versions are at "http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~quinn/9crash.tgz" so if
anyone wants to take a look and verify that I am or am not raving or
hallucinating, I'll be grateful. I've tried a new kernel, debugger, etc., and
it still blows my system away every time.

Also, is there a searchable 9fans archive? I was thinking such a thing would
be useful, and of setting one up if there isn't one available.

thanks

you might find more people take a look at it if you provide the source
code.

i, for one, don't like executing binaries off the net (plus if i don't
have the source, there's little that i can do other than say "yes, it
crashes my machine too".)

  cheers,
    rog.
