you might find more people take a look at it if you provide the source
code.
i, for one, don't like executing binaries off the net (plus if i don't
have the source, there's little that i can do other than say "yes, it
crashes my machine too".)

Hey, did anyone ever manage to reproduce my kernel-crash thing? I'm guessing
not because I made a mistake in the lua scripts: the first line should be
fcall = _getreg().modules.fcall
not
import('fcall')
Updated versions are at "http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~quinn/9crash.tgz" so if
anyone wants to take a look and verify that I am or am not raving or
hallucinating, I'll be grateful. I've tried a new kernel, debugger, etc., and
it still blows my system away every time.
Also, is there a searchable 9fans archive? I was thinking such a thing would
be useful, and of setting one up if there isn't one available.
