Let me preface this by saying that losing your fileserver really,
really, really sucks.

However, thanks to the encouragment and common sense of Charles
Forsyth, I didn't lose any data when mine went belly up yesterday,
and I'd like to publicly thank him for helping me out.

Thanks a lot, Charles!  I owe you (at least!) a beer.
