[9fans] Chess program?

Is there a chess program for Plan 9?  Given Ken Thompson's history
of interest in computer chess, I can't imagine that there isn't (though
I can imagine that it might not be distributed for whatever reason).
Anyway, how are people wasting their time on Plan 9?  Thanks!

belle (sp?) used speciliased h/w to to the alpha/beta pruning.

it's just not a matter of s/w.

i saw his talk, in sydney, many years ago.

Well, on figuring out how to break a loop in RC, or return from a rc
function before the end.
Some moves or more complicated then chess moves.
