Ever notice that Plan 9 has process priorities that influence scheduling, but interrupts are either on (spllo) or off (splhi)? Another blow struck in the fight for simplicity. -rob --upas-odkgklfjzdotnlpxfzoohjyzvb Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from plan9.cs.bell-labs.com ([135.104.9.2]) by plan9; Thu Jul 26 05:04:06 EDT 2001 Received: from mail.cse.psu.edu ([130.203.4.6]) by plan9; Thu Jul 26 05:04:03 EDT 2001 Received: from psuvax1.cse.psu.edu (psuvax1.cse.psu.edu [130.203.18.6]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 50A2F19A10; Thu, 26 Jul 2001 05:03:15 -0400 (EDT) Received: from mercury.bath.ac.uk (mercury.bath.ac.uk [138.38.32.81]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 4DAE8199F8 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Thu, 26 Jul 2001 05:02:25 -0400 (EDT) Received: from news by mercury.bath.ac.uk with local (Exim 3.12 #1) id 15Pgpa-0003s9-00 for 9fans@cse.psu.edu; Thu, 26 Jul 2001 09:49:18 +0100 Received: from GATEWAY by bath.ac.uk with netnews for 9fans@cse.psu.edu (9fans@cse.psu.edu) To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu From: Ozan Yigit Message-ID: Organization: York University References: <200107250140.VAA07104@smarty.smart.net> Subject: Re: [9fans] commercial deployment Sender: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu Errors-To: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu X-BeenThere: 9fans@cse.psu.edu X-Mailman-Version: 2.0.6 Precedence: bulk Reply-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu List-Id: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.cse.psu.edu> List-Archive: Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2001 08:48:35 GMT From: "Rick Hohensee" > Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
