Why can't they learn to talk without those gaggy throat-clearing noises? The rest of the world lives without them; why can't they? What possible benefit can they be? Forget it. Japan is out of the question; what fools having such an incomprehensible writing system! Nothing interesting will ever happen there, either. English is so obviously the way to go, so easy to learn a child can pick it up. Why can't everyone just adopt it and be done? Get with the program, people! -rob
