One line (FastTrak?) claims to implement drive mirroring, but I don't know if this requires OS intervention, or if it just works once you configure it via the Promis BIOS. I've just got a version of nemo's IDE file server up and running on a system with 2 20GB IDE drives. I've added optional mirroring and that seems to work (I haven't yet done a thorough verification) at a performance penalty of 8-9% real time. I just copied 275MB into the main file system; so far everything seems to be working right.
