there is an inferno list but i'll send information about that and source for
at least one inferno image conversion program to you separately.
why isn't there one in the inferno distribution?  good question.  should be fixed soon.

Well, I'm actually not using Plan9 - I'm using Inferno, and don't have the
programs you're talking about. I just said Plan9 so as to not be shouted at
for using the wrong newsgroup! I've tried to use the imagefile Module in my
limbo programs to load jpegs, but I can't figure out how to use it. I only
started learning Limbo 2 days ago, and I'm sure everyone will be quick to
tell me I should start from the beginning of the manual, but I like to learn
quickly, by trial and error, and this method works for me. And programs are
so dull without graphics, so I started there.

Anyway, are these jpg programs .dis files? Can they be sent to me and run
under inferno?
