Moin,
I've setup a plan9 system and try to configure the email system.
There is an dhcp server in my network which I also use for the
plan9 system.
I have edit the /mail/lib/rewrite and /mail/lib/rewrite.gateway
and mada the following entry in /lib/ndb/local
ipnet=mteege.de ip=192.168.153.0 ipsubmask=255.255.255.0
dns=dns.mteege.de
smtp=smtp.mteege.de
But an mail -x matthias@mteege.de gives me an
illegal rewrite rule: /mail/lib/rewrite.gateway
Invalid address: matthias@mteege.de
This also apear if I use the original rewrite.gateway.
What do I miss?

It means "good morning". It's a greeting in northern germany
(Moin Moin).

Well, now I can send my mails from the plan9 system. But in the
headers there are a lot of "yourworld.dom" stuff and I didnt find
the place to set my own domain name. I use dhcp and so my
/lib/ndb/local is short.
ipnet=mteege.de ip=192.168.153.0 ipsubmask=255.255.255.0
dns=dns.mteege.de
smtp=smtp.mteege.de

You should be copying /mail/lib/rewrite.gateway
onto /mail/lib/rewrite, then editing. Mail -x
behaves as though you just left the string "/mail/lib/rewrite.gateway"
in the /mail/lib/rewrite file. This is admittedly
unclear when you look at the file.
