in the case i'm thinking of (some variants of the FA310) it was
Netgear that said it was somehow incorrect and included a diskette for
Windows to compensate if you got one of the older ones. since i had got
only the one and had no idea whether it was one of the ones they
thought had a problem, i'm not really sure what that problem was!
