I haven't quite managed to get my mind around this, but I assume it means that sam can originate an ssh session and request the remote ssh daemon to tunnel the traffic. Another possibility would be to use ssh tunneling, but that's a pain at best. Anyone would like to explain how it ought to be done, if I understood the idea properly? I seem to remember that the feature is available in the Win version of sam too. I can't find any details in the sam man pages, but I'm notorious for not seeing the obvious :-( ++L
