Subject: [9fans] mount(1) usage...
Date: Mon, 26 Aug 2002 15:49:38 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20020826154937.R29921@cackle.proxima.alt.za> (raw)

... announces a "-r" option which is not accepted. I wonder when last
it worked, and how?

The "-q" option could be advertised (it's not in the bind(1) man
page either) and I would call the option flag "quiet" rather than
"qflag".

If no one else feels like it, I'll post a modified version here.

PS: I see even 2ed didn't have a -r option. Somehow I fooled myself
into believing that one could specify read-only mode at mount(1)
time. I guess one installs two servers instead: one to serve with
write capabilities, the other without.
