Subject: [9fans] getting inferno
Date: Sat, 19 Oct 2002 20:18:06 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20021020031806.31059.qmail@web13115.mail.yahoo.com> (raw)
alright, maybe i just don't "get it" yet. Let's say I
have a working plan9 install on my box, and I want to
download inferno to run hosted within it. Since
there's no web browser for plan9, and I'm not the
wizard I ought to be, how would one go about this? Or,
if that doesn't work, I can download it on RH8(which
I'm running now) and try to write it to the plan9
partition. Alright, well I tried that and all I get
are three binaries in the plan9 partition. I realize
this is just how linux views these files, but I can't
use them as such. A little help again. So far so good.
Plan9 forever.
