Date: Wed, 23 Oct 2002 16:06:31 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20021023140631.GA219@next.gli.cas.cz> (raw)
Hi,
writing to a non-existent directory gives a strange error message:
term% mv /n/ftp/neXt/biology/rel* /n/ftp/neXt/text
mv: /n/ftp/neXt not a directory
========================
term% ls /n/ftp/neXt/text
ls: /n/ftp/neXt/text: '/n/ftp/neXt' file does not exist
term% ls /n/ftp/neXt
/n/ftp/neXt/3D_reconstruction
/n/ftp/neXt/biology
/n/ftp/neXt/imaging
/n/ftp/neXt/libs
/n/ftp/neXt/rc
Regards,
++pac.
