I can answer my own question about mk nuke versus mk clean; mk nuke removes $LIB, which is usually set to /$objtype/lib/libwhatever.a. That'd be bad. At anyrate, maybe it'd be good to change the clean target to remove *.a[$OS] in addition to the usual things. There're three or four different places where libraries aren't cleaned. - Dan C.
