My boot process is stalling after printing: cpu0 ( pentium 2 .... ) ECLR < it hangs here > The trouble-shooting page leads me to believe that this indicates that 9load has done its bootstrap work correctly, and that the boot-scripts are not reached. The problem lies in the kernel. I gather that the Plan9 kernel is customizable, but I know very little about the process. Is there a way to create a modified kernel image on a host operating system like linux or BSD, or find prebuilt images other than the generic install kernel. ( which doesn't seem to like my hardware. ) I would very much like to play with Plan 9. Should I wait for the new distribution? tks, mulc
