I'll have to do > some digging. > > ++L Well post '86/7 sometime yes, a form of ISODE went semi-proprietary, but all code up to that time was fully in the open eye, and it had ASN.1 for sure. the newer'packed encoding' stuff, I don't know how well it does that. but the basic B.E.R. should be fine. I think there would be ISODE code out there post 1990 which was safe too in fact.
