It's likely that you're trying to drive your monitor at a higher
refresh rate than it can handle.

If you're still booting from CD, try setting your monitor to
multisync75 and keep the resolution down to 1024x768.

Does the default 640x480x8 and xga monitor flash as well?

We're working on it. The plan is to attach some anti-virus software
to spamassassin. But it's an arms race at best.

The following attachment had content that we can't
prove to be harmless. To avoid possible automatic
execution, we changed the content headers.
The original header was:

	Content-Type: application/octet-stream;

Paying particularly close attention to video (primarily) and network cards
as this OS is very sensitive to these. Even though the FAQ lists a
family(!!!) or chipset as 'compatible' individual manufacturer models may
still not work (we've seen BIOS rev dependenices on supported cards for
example).

Broadcasting your advertisements to listserves at random violates the
purpose of these mail groups. Not send mail to 9fans again. If you do I
will send bulk mail about money making schemes again, I will check into the
legality of your operation. I also sent a copy of your letter to AOL.Com.

CyberKat75@aol.com broadcast the following message to the 9fans
mail listserve. This group is about operating systems and has
nothing to do with the money making scheme your member was
advertising. I would like you to warn him about interfering with
listserves unrelated to his business. If he continues, you
should drop him from your service. I also question that his
     "business" is legal.
