since you have the cd, read through the setup scripts... they're quite =
revealing, and a good example of how much can be done with scripts.

Hello,

   I just installed plan9 for the first time, and I'm finding it to be=20
very interesting.  I had a question about the installer, though.  The=20
"net" option for grabbing the sources seems to be either incomplete,=20
broken, or both.  I had to burn a CD-Rom to finish the install.

   Out of curiousity, how is the network install supposed to work? =20
There doesn't seem to be any documentation on it.
