I tend to agree. But. There's also a matter of gatekeepers. plan9 was lucky enough to have people in this role with an excellent taste in how code should look like. IMHO, that's the real reason behind why source reads like a good literature. It's not a question of functionality or community-based development it's really just a question of euthanizing code that shouldn't have seen the light of day in the first place, no matter how much useful features it contains. I can only hope that with jmk being the only one left we can still have this. Thanks, Roman.
