Subject: [9fans] plan9ports keyboard "shortcuts"
Date: Thu, 5 Aug 2004 14:17:26 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20040805211726.GA9120@epaphras> (raw)

Is there a reason that the Windows-style keyboard commands
for snarf, copy and paste were added to 9term in the
ports? It doesn't seem very Plan9ish. Besides that, it
gets in my way when I'm sshed to a system that runs bash.
Bash won't let me enter a tab unless I precede it with
^V, but ^V just pastes. I realize that it's not a hard
thing to remove this from the code, but it surprised me
to find it there in the first place.

Micah
