Subject: [9fans] twente9con call for participation and contributions
Date: Wed, 1 Dec 2004 23:14:07 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200412012214.iB1ME7I24224@zamenhof.cs.utwente.nl> (raw)

What? meet other people interested in plan 9 (inferno etc.)
Where? University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands
When? tuesday 21 + wednesday 22 december 2004

I have added a page to the wiki(*) about the twente9con plan:

http://plan9.bell-labs.com/wiki/plan9/Twente9con_2004/

It is supposed to contain all twente9con info I have posted here
(if you miss something, tell me, and/or fix the page).
I hope that we succeed to keep notes during the meeting,
and update the page during/after the meeting, to have it as
a `report' after the meeting.

If you will be coming, and are not yet on the 'will be there' list,
please 'register' by sending me an email containing
 - dietary preferences
(there may be a free lunch after all - no guarantees, yet, though)
 - mac-addresses of wifi cards you intend to bring
(still need to make sure I can provide access, but I don't
	expect obstacles in this respect)
 - mobile phone numbers to support regrouping in case we succeed
   in getting all lost
 - things you would like to do or discuss
 - things you could contribute to the program
 - things you would like to see in the program but cannot
contribute yourself (like things you would like to learn)

For several of the things I ask above I provided entry points
in the wiki page - feel free to add it there in addition to
(or instead of) mailing those to me.

Hope to see you at twente9con,
Axel.

(*) I also added a 9con page, linked off the main plan 9 wiki page,
that I intended to be a list of pointers to future and past 9cons etc
(plans resp. reports, pictures).
feel free to edit/update and/or to edit/change the link off the main
plan 9 wiki page; I was tempted to add a new section MEETINGS to
the main wiki page (with 9con as only item), but did not do that yet.
