To: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs
As you guys recommended, I found a large Plan 9 installation and logged
in with drawterm from Linux (logged into the Texas grid
http://www.9grid.us/). However, upon trying to start rio, I get the
error "cannot find mouse: device or object already in use". Is this a
common problem, and is there a fix for it?

do:
bind /mnt/term/dev/cons /dev/cons
bind /mnt/term/dev/consctl /dev/consctl
bind -a /mnt/term/dev /dev
then start rio.
www.9grid.us doesn't seem to be configured like my home 'grid' :-)

actually, just run /sys/lib/newuser and you'll
get a profile that does this for you.
