As of Qemu 0.8.0[0] does it support SMP. When trying to boot Plan 9 on it, with two processors, then there appears the message: panic: lapic clock faster than cpu clock After removing that check and with 255 processors did it only find 8 cpus and dumpstack because of divide errors. The apic clock problem seems to be Qemu[1], because I still want a 42Ghz cpu in userspace.
