Topicbox-Message-UUID: cab274a8-ead0-11e9-9d60-3106f5b1d025 Hello, merry christmas :) the Wikipage http://www.cs.bell-labs.com/wiki/plan9/Supported_PC_hardware/index.html shows a list of laptops, that can be used with Plan9. is this list up to date and complete? I want to chose an IBM notebook/laptop but none of those on the list are available at my computer store and none of the available at the store are on that list. So, I may have to buy a different computer, if the available are not supported. But maybe the list is not up to date, and so I want to know who also has installed Plan9 on other Thinpads. The following are available at the store (and I prefer to buy from a local store): Thinkpad R50e Thinkpad R52 Thinkpad T43 Thinkpad T43p Thinkpad X41 Thinkpad Z60m Thinkpad Z60t But not all of these are what I would chose, because some of them are too expensive. Did someone got Plan9 running on one of those machines? And if, did all works as expected? There is a partially written driver in /n/sources/contrib/rsc. I announced it to 9fans a month ago. I think all the hard parts are done and all that remains is putting the pieces together.
