If the user doesn't type anything for a while the system boots up in a game. May be a new game where "scrolls" are hints on how to use various OS components. The user finds them, reads them and applies them to solve puzzles. May be a cross between rogue and Physicus and Lego Mindstorm.... And you thought you were joking.
