Once again: I hope I was able to make my point clear that I'm not against the idea in general, but rather I'm very cautios about the way it can go. That said, however, I feel pretty strong about one thing -- if by "getting more people on it" we are going to end up with a Linux-looking GNU-based beast that takes a mental asylum patient to support and maintain then I urge you to reconsider. If they want Linux they know where to find it. Thanks, Roman. P.S. Unfortunately, that's exactly what is going on with Linux desktop these days. People are hungry for Windows/MacOS but without a license fee. That in turn twists core UNIX technology so much that you can't recognize it anymore. Which is a shame... :-(
