Thought I put a link on the wiki but I cannot find it there now.

Doug McIlroy's page at Dartmouth has the Unix version of map and
the data files:

http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~doug/wdbii.tar.gz

can be used with:
	http://groups.google.com/group/comp.os.plan9/msg/0f6682b4b091b643?dmode=source

☺

cpu% mkdir /lib/map; cd /lib/map
cpu% hget http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~doug/wdbii.tar.gz | gunzip | tar xT
cpu% mapdemo	# works!

How many other /lib directories are empty or nonexistant that can be populated from freely available data?
