I've got several machines, where I need an remote backup (via DSL link) with a few days living snapshots. Ideally the backup should be directly accessible, so when one machine goes down a while, the backup one can take over. The venti even could be clustered (each machine feeding the others), so the remaining backup will just be on metadata, right ? cu -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Enrico Weigelt == metux IT service - http://www.metux.de/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please visit the OpenSource QM Taskforce: http://wiki.metux.de/public/OpenSource_QM_Taskforce Patches / Fixes for a lot dozens of packages in dozens of versions: http://patches.metux.de/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
