Every time I edit any of this code I think the same thing, as I'm sure do the maintainers of the other copies, but as the environments are all unpleasant and subtly different, it always seems better to get in and get out quickly than to linger pondering an interface that would satisfy all the involved parties. Are you just whining or actually stepping forward to do something about it? Russ
