I agree with Richard and I can confirm Plan 9 works fine in VirtualBox 4.1.24 (2012-12-19). It can be downloaded here: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.1.24/ However, as Richard said, VirtualBox 4.2 is known not to work with Plan 9 from Bell Labs. -- David du Colombier
