This is with QEMU emulator version 1.7.0 (Debian 1.7.0+dfsg-3), Copyright (c) 2003-2008 Fabrice Bellard Linux HbIOTOH 3.12-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.12.9-1 (2014-02-01) x86_64 GNU/Linux mischief on IRC suggested that I report this finding to the list. I also saw the same error message trying to boot 9legacy.iso (but perhaps that factoid should go to another list? forgive my ignorance). (I was finally able to get to Rio after getting a 9front.iso) best, -- _ / \ A* \^ - ,./ _.`\\ / \ / ,--.S \/ \ / `"~,_ \ \ __o ? _ \<,_ /:\ --(_)/-(_)----.../ | \ --------------.......J Paul Ivanov http://pirsquared.org
