It was introduced in QEMU 1.6.0 (August 2013). QEMU <= 1.5.3 are not affected. I've submitted a patch in December: http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/qemu-trivial/2013-12/msg00114.html I believe the patch has been merged in the main repository, so the current version from the Git repository should work. Hopefully, the fix will be available as part of QEMU 1.7.1. -- David du Colombier
