(unless i run linux.) using the fs instead of a local fossil, i go from 12 second to 13 seconds for compiling the fs kernel and making an iso. i believe that most of this is due to poor ethernet performance -- probablly attributable to the linksys wireless "router". i wonder if there's a way to use all of the available i/o with a magnetic disk while allowing for media switching latency on a real worm? thanks! - erik
