Friends,

An IPv6 enabled ADSL Linux gadget here on our network is acting as a
DHCP Server, IPv4 and IPv6 Router and a Firewall.

I recently installed Plan9 on a DELL Inspiron 4150 notebook, 1.8GHz/
1GB/40GiB after testing it under QEMU.

For setting up networking, I issued the following commands:

ip/ipconfig
ip/ipconfig -6
ip/ipconfig ra6 recvra 1
ip/ipconfig ra6 mflag 1

It manages to get IPv4 addresses and routes via DHCP, but, I could not
figure out why Plan9 is not picking up IPv6 addresses and, or routes
via RA's, whereas all our other Linux, FreeBSD and XP machines are
working fine under same environment.

Moreover, I'm sure that the Plan9 is receiving proper IPv6 RA's which
I have confirmed with help of snoopy also.

Any help and, or pointers on this matter of yours shall highly be
appreciated.

Thanks,

?!? Inferno IPv6 stacks works fine while Plan 9 one is no more
understood

I can't ping Plan9 IPv6 from MacOS nor Inferno and vice versa, while
IPv6 Inferno and MacOS see each other.

Is this bound to any IPv6 change within /sys/src/9/ip/ ?
