Now, I took a look at the nvidia.c and I found no explicit (commented) references to it. I also did not find the hardware identification numbers in the code. The identifications I was looking for I sourced out of Nvidia web site here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_18897.html This page is the list of models along with their hardware numbers (supported by the current linux driver). There are four numbers for 6800XT. My question to the community: is there someone with actual experience of using this card under Plan 9? And if there is, tell - how really good the driver and does it really use this quite sophisticated hardware? The oldest wiki page where the native support is mentioned belongs to Erik Quanstrom, so maybe he knows a bit more?
