The installation process went on smoothly. I only has one NTFS partition so I choose boot from plan9. And I install mbr in my first virtual hard drive. the following are some choices i made during installation: sdC0 - VMWare Virtual IDE Hard Drive sdD0 - NECVMWareVMWare IDE CDR101.00 Disk to partition: sdC0 Install mbr: y ...... choose "boot from plan9" After restarting vm, plan9 hangs during boot, only show the following: ELCR: 0E00 apm ax=3Df000 cx=3Df000 dx=3D40 di=3Dffff ebx=3D5a43 esi=3D-1 dev A0 port 1F0 config 427A capabilities 2F00 mwdma 0007 udma 0207 dev A0 port 170 config 85C4 capabilities 0F00 mwdma 0007 udma 0207 If I connect to iso image before restart, I can still start from CD image.
