Subject: [9fans] prefered naming conventions (Tvx-*, tvx*, etc.)
Date: Fri, 28 May 2010 23:55:37 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <2ed55bf4bfd3d73f733d9b27186255a6@swcp.com> (raw)
I think it was Erick which asked about renaming Tvx-root to tvxroot.
Before I ask upstream I want to make sure that I get things sorted out with
the naming.
I see renaming Tvx to tvx, and Tvx-root to tvxroot. What is the
preference with the docs and the source. tvxrootsrc seems a bit unwieldy,
and I've always liked using '-' or '_' to separate out words for
readability, but this seems to NOT be Plan 9's communities preference.
Also, please remember that seperating out the docs were specifically
requested/required by TCL. So, who votes for what names.
