(the pcirouting whine is harmless.) does it just hang? i'm pretty sure that plan 9 will not recognize your hard drive, as it is plugged into port #5 and plan 9 doesn't do nvidia's sata. if you plugged it into port #0 or #1, it would likely show up as /dev/sdE0 or /dev/sdF0 using ide emulation. this is how my home machine works. - erik
