disable the second floppy drive and suddenly I could boot the
floppy! Others have reported needed in power-cycle instead of
RESET or vice-versa. I spent an evening reading through the
boot floppy source code and never did find the real problem.
My advice is to download a fresh boot floppy; maybe a new
version has been provided that works better.
