I've tried your stuff on my WinFast GeForce256 DDR (V10.19.2000) and
it worked swimmingly up to 1280x1024x8 which is plenty of dots on my
17" iiyama.  I'll try 1600x1200 on my sony 19" tomorrow (eek, later
today).
