Alas, the Rage 128 is not supported. *Some* ATI Xpert 98 products (probably not the "value" versions) work fine. I recently changed from Xpert 98 to Nvidia GeForce 2, which required some modification and rebuilding (but at least the driver was provided). This whole PC video business is disgusting. Xi Graphics sells an X server to replace the native Solaris x86 version, which supports a lot of cards (including I think Rage 128) but not GeForce 2. Everybody always claims that what they haven't supported is due to not getting information out of the video card (or chip) manufacturer. (SunSoft now supports the XFree86 video drivers, via an add-on package, on Solaris x86, and thus they now "support" more cards I care about than any other product that I know of.)
