I have to do a small amount of work to fix it. RFC 822 goes to all this trouble to have this horrendously, useless complexity for the addresses and then decides on a context sensitive grammar for the Received: fields. Being able to walk them (which was my plan) and to send mail to abuse or postmaster for every host that touched the spam was my idea of backpressure :)
