I've seen remarkably few magnetic disk head crashes. Although, I was
seeing about one a month as soon as a Storageworks RAID array was
installed. Good thing those horrible RZ-4? were RAID 5. Bad thing
was that they were so unreliable that that you needed to RAID them.
Maybe it was all a convenient marketing ploy ...
