Sure, when it comes to an issue such as security controls, that may not be possible, given limits of a current technology. However, an individual shouldn't be molded into what *Bob* or *I* believe is best for them, unless they seek our guidance. Rather, I believe allowing an individual to explore their computational curiosity by supporting many flavors of a given facet ends up catering to more successful projects, overall. I don't believe the goal is as much to get users running plan9 as it is to get users to *succeed in the computer field* via plan9. Trust your technolust.
