Under 9front, try the following steps:

% mkdir -p /dist/replica/client
% 9fs sources
% /n/sources/contrib/fgb/root/rc/bin/contrib/install -f fgb/contrib

Then, of course,

% contrib/gui

if you want the minimal GUI to install packages.
