i used it interactively and for _personal_ scripts.  any sysadmin
stuff was written in the _bourne_ shell, in a V7 style (ie. i avoided
functions unless absolutely necessary).

however, there's a real killer rc script that i did use for one
particularly nasty sysadmin job at:
