hi folks,
a student in my class asked me about plan9 a couple of days ago and i've
been following your postings quite eagerly, but now i am wandering what
exactly is the difference between plan9 and inferno?

the main difference is that inferno uses a virtual machine
at its core, while plan 9 uses a more conventional virtual memory
system.
