Topicbox-Message-UUID: 95538ada-ead1-11e9-9d60-3106f5b1d025 Another question from this novice Plan 9 user. I'm trying to increase the screen resolution to 1280x1024 from the present 1024x768x32. I've examined /lib/vgadb thoroughly but frankly do not entirely understand it. I've tried one or two options in /n/9fat/plan9.ini, including monitor=vs1782, vgasize=1280x1024x. One 9fan in the archive mentioned simply putting in monitor=t23 in his case. Mine seems closest to vs1782 but results in "vs1782@1280x1024x not in vgadb". Have also tried monitor=sxga with similar results. Video card and monitor are capable of supporting 1280x1024x32 or more. Details are: Card: RIVA (Nvidia?) TNT2 64 Monitor: Viewsonic VE710s. H freq. 30-82, V 50-85 (very similar to the characteristics of the vs1782 in vgadb. John
