I unfortunately never tried to run Plan 9 on the machine I had the card on, so I can't say whether it worked with that ROM or not. However, it's worth a shot. --upas-jgkeutdysutmvtbtnewqsojyqu Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from mail.cse.psu.edu ([130.203.4.6]) by kelton; Mon Dec 10 12:58:19 EST 2007 Received: from psuvax1.cse.psu.edu (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 0FC34F64F for ; Mon, 10 Dec 2007 12:58:05 -0500 (EST) X-Original-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Delivered-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id A176BF289 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 10 Dec 2007 12:56:29 -0500 (EST) Received: from mail.cse.psu.edu ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (psuvax1 [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with LMTP id 07405-01-5 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 10 Dec 2007 12:56:27 -0500 (EST) Received: from plan9.9netics.com (www.9netics.com [64.91.109.37]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 175F1F26F for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 10 Dec 2007 12:56:26 -0500 (EST) Message-ID: <5e291501ed21448e1e90b2995f1ef2e3@9netics.com> To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Date: Mon, 10 Dec 2007 12:56:22 -0500 From: Skip Tavakkolian <9nut@9netics.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new at cse.psu.edu Subject: [9fans] driver - sil680 ide/raid controller X-BeenThere: 9fans@cse.psu.edu X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list Reply-To: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans@cse.psu.edu> List-Id: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.cse.psu.edu> List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: 9fans-bounces+leitec=kelton.leitec.org@cse.psu.edu Errors-To: 9fans-bounces+leitec=kelton.leitec.org@cse.psu.edu i've tried to use one of these in a kenfs. the two disks attached to it are not recognized. anybody know how to turn off RAID and just used it as IDE controller? any hints - there apparently are linux and BSD drivers for it. --upas-jgkeutdysutmvtbtnewqsojyqu--
